Gradient Bar

Sometime, choosing colors for create gradient bar is not easy, then I created this photoshop tutorial to show you an easy way to create a gradient bar without a gradient tool and you can change color of gradient easily.

 

 

 

Gradient Bar

- Create a new document 640*480 pixel.
- Create a new layer.
- Select Rectangular Marquee Tool, draw a selection 450*30 pixel.
- Fill color #E1A400 into selection.

 

 

 

Bevel and Emboss
- Right click on layer, select Blending Option.
- Select Bevel and Emboss.

- Now, you've got a gradient bar but it's not perfect yet.
- Create a selection at the center of the bar, then go to Edit > Copy Merged.
- Go to Edit > Paste, you will have a small gradient bar on a new layer.
- Press CTRL+T, a scale will appear, then drag from the side and hit Enter to commit.

Final result!
- I changed color by CTRL+ Click on layer that I made Bevel and Emboss, then fill a new a color and change nothing in Bevel and Emboss.
